Highlight from his debut EP, Seven Hours, out now on Erased tapes, ‘Lungful’ is a grand statement of an artist with a bright future. Bravely sparse, the arrangement brings to mind These New Puritans work on Hidden to some extent but, y’know, with a guy that can actually sing up front. Meow and all that. True though. Poetically beautiful lyrics with that relentless piano refrain which works its way into your subconscious and doesn’t let go. I love the video to this, hence the post but you can stream the whole bloody EP below. So, do that.
