Another stunning collection of house from Leon Vynehall and Christian Piers, gaining support from the likes of Disclosure and Huxley. Track one, ‘Whip What’ has small beginnings until, out of nowhere, burst the funkiest bassline since Parliament. This is supplemented by chord stabs and then some jazzy ass keys around the three minute mark which elevate the whole thing to a heavenly plain – absolute belter. ‘Flute Works’ is tribal and driving with oddly woozy use of said flute in the breakdown before ripping back into the heads down business and finally ‘Fatty Que’ is old school excellence, the whole thing underpinned by a richter scale kick and brought to life with bright synths. Each track’s a different style, each track’s superb.

Released Oct 23 on vinyl, Nov 11 digitally. Cop.
